Dear sauna owner, if you wish to contribute to the organization of the international and athletic European Sauna Marathon, please register your sauna by December 1, 2023, via email at info@saunamaraton.com!

We aim to showcase authentic Estonian saunas as representative saunas in the Otepää region, offering a genuine ESTONIAN sauna experience. We encourage creativity in this regard – for the sauna marathon, you can create a special “project sauna” in your old stone barn, glass greenhouse, or similar.

The more unique or awesome it is, the greater the chance of winning the hearts of participants and a substantial prize at the start of the year. Each sauna owner will receive a participation support of 240 euros, and the people’s favorite sauna will receive an additional prize of 500 euros. We will also award various special prizes such as “Most Unique Sauna of the Year”, etc.

The XIII European Sauna Marathon in Otepää is organized by: Otepää Municipality, Tõrva Municipality, Otepää Cultural Centers, sauna owners along with their team, volunteers.
